The Forum Groningen is a multi-functional cultural public space that opened in November 2019. The building has 17,000 mĀ² spread over ten floors and was designed by various parties.Ā A meeting place for everyoneĀ to come together, conveniently located near the Grote Markt and on the Nieuwe Markt. It houses the VVV / Tourist Information Centre, a cafĆ©, a cinema, the public library, a Smartlab, the Storyworld museum, international exhibitions, a sky lounge bar and restaurant and this roof terrace with an amazing panoramic view.
Feel free to walk the criss-cross escalators that connect two sides of the building all the way up to the 10th floor or just go up with the lift. From there, you can access the rooftop via a staircase passing the outdoor seating Rooftop Cinema, outside of Restaurant NOK.
It was raining on the day of my visit. The view from 45-meters high was not disappointing.

Opening Hours: 9 am Mondays to Saturday, Sunday from 10 am till 6pm.
Note: Should the rooftop closed in any case, get a table at Restaurant NOK to enjoy the view. I enjoyed the Nachos!
